To talk about a new listing this morning seems insignificant in the overall scheme of things. People in much of California and probably most of the country are teetering on the edge of their seats, eyes wide and hands clasped, preparing for a catastrophic event about to strike along the West Coast. Meteorologists are predicting a series of 8-foot waves to slam our California beaches.
The 8.9 magnitude earthquake that hit the northeast area of Japan last night caused horrendous, devastating damage. A monster tsunami hit the Hawaiian Islands a short time later. I watched an area in Waipio Valley where I stood a few months ago get hit for a second time. Thankfully, most of Hawaii was spared. But now it's headed for California.
The reason we're not seeing present TV news coverage in Japan is because it's still dark there.
I will tell you about my new listing tomorrow. That can wait. Waves traveling at hundreds of miles per hour are on their way here.
