Had a lovely weekend. How about you?
The wee people are starting to take over the NY Mommy Chronicles gig (LOL). They like playing TomTom and telling me where we have to go on our daily adventures. Shorty and I had a blast running amok upstate in Pawling for the week end. While we were collecting eye candy on a photography shoot, Noah and Mikey were living it up doing guy pie stuff downstate when my fabulous four year old took a serious hike around Lakeside Park. That complex is approximately 40 acres. We were going to do the Adirondacks until he said, "Carry me." There was no way I was going to hike with a 40 pound mini-me on my back so we explored local landmarks instead (LOL).
I have to paint a portrait later so we are leaving early to high-jack a model on our way to school. Breakfast should be very interesting... Stephen has a serious crush on her and I am proud to report my son has excellent tastes (LOL). He is wandering about looking for trains while Noah is still sleeping. I gotta roll that kid out of bed every morning. Step is usually the one to wake everybody up. I say, "lay down and go to sleep" a lot because Shorty thinks that phrase is negotiable. ;-)
I have to go find a new job of the day to write about for the digital day job and post links back to the application. Will be back around lunch time if I don't sneak off to Washington D.C. (LAMO). What? Didn't you guys read Margaret Rome's post? There are some really cool writers converging on Washington D.C. and you can get a briefing here. :-)
BTW, I got up 5 AM to post a brief chat with you only to discover at 7:25 EST I still can't upload a photo. Two hours of bad gateway can make a gal really cranky. I am going to the gym to have tea and donuts with my model before we start painting (LOL). I shall figure out what to do about my pictures and digital film later. I hear a few more servers are coming on-line for us so I am looking forward to the upgrade. More room to upload eye candy is a good thing. There will be eye candy... lots and lots of eye candy. I have to share my addictions (LOL). ;-)
