Penelope Trunk is a Blogger that you have got to read. She's amazingly open and heartbreakingly honest. Don't believe me? Click the above link and find out just how far she is willing to go to help people while she shares.
I cried when I read this and found myself growing addicted to her blog in just one morning. She is amazing. You have to read this and leave her a kind comment. I insist. The simple honesty about her life will make you wonder why you don't unburden yourself of useless secrets, stress and just let crap go. I share a lot, but have never shared on this level. Go read her blog posts. They are amazing...
I hope chicka is on Facebook. I am soooo going to friend her if she is. Can you say new Penelope Trunk fan? Seriously... :-)

C, I read Penelope's post...it is AWESOME. She is so strong and courageous, after all she has been through. Reading about her secrets brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for providing the link to this wonderful post.
C, Penelope's blog is very different than the blogs I usually read. It's personal and almost uncomfortably revealing. Thanks for sharing the link.
"C" --- I'm off to read Penelope's post --- thanks for the tip,
I just read her last post. Wow! Goin' back for more.
Amazing. For whatever there is in my life to cause me stress, this can't compete. I see what you mean, she is addictive.
WOW, her writings are amazing. Unsettling. But so courageous.
Rebecca and Maria, you are very welcome. :-)
Liz, it will startle and amaze you in how transparent a writer she is. Transparency, like humor, is an intangible item when used well can bring points across like no other mechanism or writing tool.
Patricia, I am on my way back over there as well. :-)
Sharon, I second that. Quite addictive, indeed. :-)
Candice very well said, my friend...
Wow, I have never read it before but that is someone I am definitely going to follow! Thank you so much for sharing Carolyn!
Christal, you are very welcome. I find her fascinating. :-)
OK... I just spent the morning reading through her various posts. wow. thanks so much, C, for bringing her to light. I subscribed. She's just too raw and honest, and straightforward to not read.
Sally, I love lurking over there. She has a way of putting what you're going through in perspective.
There is so much about other people we do not know and tend to take for granted. My friends all have interesting lives, yet some of them have no idea just how interesting they really are. I have one friend who makes me laugh every single day without trying. She's always giving me curious looks when I tell her she's my good time friend because she thinks her life is boring, stresses about taking care of her parents and works so damn hard she barely has time to date. Her commentary regarding these events is priceless. I keep trying to get her to blog and she thinks I'm crazy (LMAO). She barely has time for Facebook. I may have to sit next to her and make her (ROTFL). :-)
When I read Penelope, I realize there is so much more going on that people never tell you. People drag themselves through their day, silently hurting, looking for a way out of a miserable life and distract themselves with all sorts of habits (like reading our blogs - LOL). She reminds me to be kind to people when I don't feel like it because sometimes when I am having a miserable day I don't think much about others while b*tching about myself. I am trying to change that... :-)
