Dear Kathy and Jesse,
I am a pretty flawed individual with lots of quirky issues, however, there are a few things that I do know: I trust on, lean on, rely on and am very confident in God.
I do not know what He has planned or what is in store for you. What I do know is that you are very much loved, will always be in my prayers and you two are not alone. You have virtual family standing in spiritual warfare for you every step of the way no matter what happens or where you two may go.
May you rest in the meadow grass, enjoy quiet streams and crack wise about -40 degrees BBQs in Alaska. God's grace is an amazing thing, indeed. May his healing, grace and peace be upon you both.
Alicia was kind enough to sing Amazing Grace during one of or breaks just for you. I pray that you two continue to find life amazing, even when it gets a wee bit scary.
Just remember in your darkest moments that we love you, God loves you, and if nut jobs like me can beat death back into the shadow land you two need to put your virtual boxing gloves on and kick some spiritual a$$.
P.S. I shall also pray for some very talented doctors (LOL). I will take my miracles any way I can get 'em. Enjoy every single day. That is a friggin' order, you hear me? Don't make me come over there and go get crazy! Have some fun sweetie pies. Laughter heals. It's a scientific fact.

What an amazing voice. You know, C, one of the many, many things I admire about you is your complete unselfishness and kindness towards others. I, too, carry thoughts in my heart for Kathy and Jesse. This was a lovely thing to do for them.

As I told Susan a few days ago we have spent a lifetime asking only that His will be done... and we simply ask that now. Wherever the road leads, we will forge ahead, stronger for having all of our friends love and support with us. Do please tell Alicia that her rendition of Amazing Grace was absolutely beautiful. That was very special! K is fast asleep but you can bet she see this tomorrow...
