Life With Wee People Thanksgiving Noise: Noah Plays The Drums
Family moments like these make blogging mad fun. Noah is getting some pointers on how to play the drums with Uncle Lester, Ben and Claude. From my family and friends to yours, wishing you all a very happy Thanksgiving. May God keep you and bless you. Love, C. :-)

Well it certainly looks like you guys were having fun. I'm playing the drums since i was Noahs age, . it looks like he's taking a real intertest in playing - great!
Roy, my shorties spent the evening sucking down sugar and banging on the drums. They both tried the bass and guitar, then went right back to clicking sticks. It was mad fun. :-)
LOL at the KISS poster on the wall! And are you crazy!? I'm getting a headache for you! HAHA
C, well, drums are better than the oboe! Happy happy thanksgiving!
LMAO @ Lisa. I told Mikey he has to buy a set of drums for the FL house as a house warming present for the wee people. Dude looked at me horrified because we want drums for Christmas (ROTFL). I am going to have so much fun running between NY, SC, and FL. ;-)
Patricia, I'm a keyboard kinda gal myself, but I can get into drums. I play an electronic drum machine with headphones, however, my boys seems to crave the real deal (LOL).
Happy Thanksgiving C! My mother in law recently gave my 3 year old a drum set. Now he beats the hell out of them all day. I partially think she did this on purpose. Dunno.
That is great, I actually just set my drums up after many years of sitting in cases.
-David
Greg, people who give drum sets to wee people as a present mean for you to have a headache (LMAO). Passive aggressive tendencies ring a bell? (ROTFL) That's why Mikey's eyes crossed when I said it. The more instruments we bring into the house the more noise my children make. I don't mind because music is math. They have no idea they are learning. ;-)
David, enjoy those puppies! Awesome!!!
Sorry C, I just looked at the picture. I don't think I want to actually hear the noise. I will take it that Noah is spectacular.
All instruments have a learning curve....but the problem with drums is that even once you learn them.....they can be loud and tough to sing along with. But if you're on keyboard.....very cool. My two boys play sax and my daughter does jazz trumpet and a guitar. Glad you had fun....
As I recall....it's Friday? time for some news?
This is what Thanksgiving is all about......family. Looks like everyone was having a great time. Happy Thanksgiving.
Jane, we had mad fun. Noah is a peach. He'll try just about anything you ask him to. He loves The Wiggles so guitars, drums and keyboards are his thing. He doesn't want toys. He wants the real thing and has 'em. Stephen loves Hannah Montana. Dude has a purple and pink guitar because he wouldn't leave the store without his precious Hannah. Noah insisted I buy that puppy. I gave in because I decided why ruin a genuine musical interest in a child for purple and pink gender issues. Dude doesn't want to be KISS he can be Prince (or in this case a roadie for Hannah - ROTFLMAO). :-)
Janice, if you only knew what nonsense I was going through now (LOL). I think I have yelled "turn it down" at least 15 times this morning. :-)
Karen, "the news" is posted (LOL).I think all kids should be encouraged to play a musical instrument. It's mad fun and music is math so I am all for it. :-)
Kay, we had a lovely evening. I hope you and yours enjoyed the day as well. :-)
Wooooohooooooooo Noah! You rock, little man! I see a recording deal in his future.
Carol, I bet if we got him music lessons he'd do really well. I am chatting with the hubby about it. :-)
