Ever take a ride on an elevator that rises a quarter of a mile high? Burj Dubai is something that I want to see. Seriously. I hear you can view their new building (now the tallest building in the world) from 59 miles away. This is on my bucket list of must see and do items. My kids would love this place. It is beautiful... On an aside, I keep thinking the Tower of Babel when I think 200 stories high (LOL).
Kudos and congrats to creating such architecturally interesting buildings. Think of all the potential the eye candy if you took pictures from different levels of that puppy (LOL). I bet more people will sign up for property management classes if more builders would create more unique and interesting communities. ;-)

I agree! It's amazing what they are doing out there. I hope to visit in the near future. My husband has been fascinated for some time.
Sincerely,
Kathleen

Dubai is an interesting place...I think of it the way Hong Kong used to be.....big, new, wealthy and exciting. We'll see if it lasts....but love to see it in it's hayday
Kathleen, your hubby has great taste. I am fascinated as well. :-)
Sara, I am seriously trying to figure out how to take the wee people on a world tour so we can collect eye candy and blog across the continents together. They have packages families can buy and I need to really start a vacation fund specifically to save for this adventure. Reading Tim Ferris made me realize we should do things while we can and stop putting off what we really dream about. This Fall is my target for this project. I hope it works out. I am going to do my best to let them see what they have been looking at in books.I will be 45. I need to get out more. I want to see Israel, London and a host of other places including Dubai.
Karen, Hong Kong is a fascinating place. I would not mind touring over there as well. I may need to get a new job. Seriously... (LOL).
C - it's an amazing place for sure. I was reading about it early this morning on its opening day. Must be some incredible views. Imagine showing condos in THAT building.

It is amazing what you can build with profits from shady mortgage backed securties and oil profitteering
