RainCamp: Ten Days Of Pain (Ben Kinney)
I am going to give you a Ben Kinney quote: "Agents that are successful at converting Internet leads follow a systematic plan, over an extended period of time. Only then will you be able to harvest the true fruits of your labor. Sadly a lot of real estate agents give up on Internet leads after only making one or two attempts to connect with them. With Internet leads your speed of response is key. In our experience, if you can combine speed of response with consistent contact over a two week time period, your odds of converting a lead to an appointment increase exponentially."
The 10 Days of Pain presentation was outstanding. Check out GiftOfShift.com These are our talking points. :-)

great post... the day was great
This is more of the same good advice Missy Caulkin had in her post.. everyone seems to agree that CONTINUOUS contact is the key to converting these leads.
Carolyn - I shared this in my recent post as well. One of our bigger closing came from a guy we called SEVENTEEN times before we got him on the phone.
So true we have to keep after it. Thanks
Carolyn - So simple and so true. But I know I've let some slip through my fingers. Great reminder.
ben, i cant believe your ability to teach. you are smooth and steady. i guess having the support that was available to you helps too : ) thanks again.
I had fun, learned something new and talked my head off between taking a lot of photographs. Looks like we are going back to basics with a social media twist. :-)
Rain Camp was great. I wish I would have snapped some photos.
It was amazing. Robin, if you need some shots for your blog ask around. We've been e-mailing pictures back and forth like trading cards (LOL). As long as you get permission from the photographers and credit them you can have fun with it. An e-mail permission with an original photograph attached is great proof of right to use. I'm sending some photographs to a tweet peep whose camera battery died. Find some blogging buddies and ask for pictures to use. Seriously. :-)
C- Thank you so much for the info. I feel like I have been out of the loop for a while. You are always such a joy to read. Have a great day.
Thank you, Robin. Enjoy your day. :-)
I attended RainCamp in San Diego and I was not as impressed with Ben---I think he was good, but was not as inspiring as I was lead to believe. A lot of his info was recycle, he also came off as being very tired-- yes, he was one of the few in his area that use social media to his benefit. So.
Lorraine, he was pretty engaging in NYC. I learned a lot and used some of his info for non-real estate related endeavors that worked out pretty well for me. I guess every seminar has its ups and downs and people do get fatigued from traveling. I hope you did get something useful from the presentation. :-)
