Bagels With Jesse
A couple of days ago I had the pleasure of being treated to breakfast by Jesse Skolkin He is an Independent New York State Certified Real Estate Appraiser with a thriving business and great blog. He produces a lot of exclusive content for the members at ActiveRain so if you want to read my pal Jesse you need to join this platform. For all you bankers looking to expand your appraisal roster, feel free to give Jesse a call. As for me, I high-jacked a bunch of his business cards during breakfast to give to my buyer clients. I'm not stupid (good people are hard to find - LOL). :-)
As much as I love going to Yotveta, you would think a bagel bunnie like me would have crossed the street to try Bagels & Company. Never happened until my blogging buddy suggested I try one of his fave places to eat in the morning. So while snacking on bagels and Israeli salads we had a lovely time chatting about the Rain, the industry, our cameras, families and fave facts about our kids. I'm going to hook up with Jesse for breakfast next week and treat him to Yotveta. I love their sea bass and they have a very yummy breakfast special. :-)
In the meantime I have to figure out today's agenda. I am going to plop my boys in the shower so we can go back to Jesse's fave spot and have our bagels. I am a Cin & Raisin gal so the three of us shall be munching on a few before going to the park so my shorties can play while I blog live in the streets. I may even wander upstate today. I am waiting for the lovely Paddy Pizappi to post her things to do post because she knows all of the cool spots and I need some new eye candy. It's a visual addiction I'm cultivating in my kids (LOL). :-)

Mmmm....just before breakfast...now there is no choice what to have ! Blog on...
Sally and David, enjoy your breakfast. :-). I am looking forward to getting the kids out and starting our day. I have to take them with me to work later so I want them to get their play time in now. :-)
C...
Dang it, I always read your posts when I'm hungry. Now I have to find a bagel somewhere!
Hey C, my son loves cinnamon and raisin. I'm an everything woman! That salad looks delicious! What a perfect way to start your day with the kids :)
Gee C, it seems that you have all of the fun places to eat!! While out today could you pick me up a corned beef on rye and send it to me?
A bagel a day is my motto and these look delicious - so does the side dish
That looks yummy! More importantly, nice plug for Jesse as you are right, good people are often hard to find!
C:
Thanks for the kind words, but the pleasure was all mine, having the opportunity to break bread with the queen of Club Chaos.
I'll try to allot more time for our next get together (I was able to make my 11:00 appointment despite cutting it close). Feel free to invite any other 'Rainers to join us. I'm a solo operation, and AR is my virtual office/water cooler.
Talk about bagel eye candy!! Yum! Girl, your energy level never ceases to amaze me....thanks for sharing, and have a great day w/your shorties!!
The bagels may be good, but the salad is the one that got me. Israely salad? I just got hungrier.
The salad looks awesome! The only bad thing about reading Active Rain is that it has a tendency to make me hungry! LOL
Good picture. Makes me hungry though I just had breakfast.
Morning guys. Makes you all hungry, eh? I know what you mean. I may have to high-jack more of you more often. :-)
Jesse, I shall call you. Yotveta awaits. :-)
Love the new name...Great to have another BB here on ActiveRain...only this time it is Bagel Bunnie. I have poppy seed, plain and onion bagels in my freezer from Greg's Bagels. OK will blog Greg's next time we go.
Love your food posts! Speaking of which...remember the cheese cake prize we were going to try to hook you up with from RDU Barcamp but they couldn't mail one? You didn't miss a thing! Ordered the freebie for New years Day and she baked the wrong size (too small, go figure) so she supplemented it with a tray of cheescake cupcakes. Cool, I thought! Wrong-o. Obviously frozen...dry and tasteless. Made me wonder if the bigger one was a leftover and she was just trying to clear out the fridge. Not exactly the best way to build business. Left me a note saying she would get it right on my next order....NOT!
Margaret, looking forward to it.
SarahGray, that totally whomps and I have to apologize for laughing. I never used my certificate because I never heard from the company I won my prize from. Looks like we both got the short end of the stick (LMAO).
Carolyn, That looks totally yummy. And I hope you'll post photos from your Yotveta get together when it happens too!
Ooooo.........fun! I love posts about food and friends! Awsome!
Susan, I shall.
Ann, sometimes I think they are the best ones. They're fun to do. :-)
