I Love Snow
I'm watching my kids sleep while wondering just how crazy the day is going to get. I love snow and I see a lot of possibilities to play. The park is only a few blocks away so I don't have to worry about the fact that the ramps to the garages have not been shoveled clear. That may not happen for a while because it is going to be snowing on and off for the rest of the day. We're having a blizzard warning but it is pretty peaceful with little wind right now. We can't travel far or stay out long because it is 31.8 degrees with freezing fog en-route. Visibility is 0.2 miles so I am thinking maybe a short trip around the block for a brief snow ball fight in the yard out back after breakfast. Might even make snow angels. :-)

Glad to see that you love snow. Wish you were here with a snow shovel in hand as we experience another blizzard in Maryland. The kids will love it since schools are closed.
Had I known how much you loved it....I would have sent you a ticket here yesterday....a foot-ish or so....so build a fort, a snow family, an ice sculpture, take a sled ride, saucer down the hill....enjoy !
Nothin' says FUN more than a SNOW DAY! Unbelievable, we are in a balmy weather pattern here in the pacific northwest! We are coming off of two winters with record snow of 4' or more all winter! They're even having to ship in snow for the Olympics! Enjoy!
It's beautiful if I can watch if from indoors, although I do love a hike through the woods on a snowy day with my hubby, but that won't be happening today. Have fun Carolyn.
When I told mine we were taking a snow day they started playing TomTom in the car directing me to all sorts of interesting places to visit yesterday (LOL). I shall be writing about how to get your little minion zen on later. We had mad fun yesterday and laughed a lot. Since I'm on lock down with the shorties I have a lot of writing to do as well as photographs to sort. We're going to be painting together as well. This should be very interesting... Stephen has taken to creating scribble art on my walls. I brought them each one canvas 24 x 48. I am going to sketch and let them paint the backgrounds, re-drawing the lines as they scrawl their way through 20 tubes of paint. My kids never stay within the lines but we do have mad fun trying to create paintings together. :-)
Hi C, Great picture and I plan on making a snowman! :)
Great plans...go with all of them. If it were an option I'd be heading up north to participate!
Howdy there C
We've got snow coming to pay us a visit today. Will I just looked outside and its here early. It was not to start untill this afternoon. After its snows alot more, I'll have to go out and do some off roaden. Have fun and stay safe playen in the snow.
We're having mad fun watching the plows shove all the snow against the parked cars (LOL). Will be outside in about 30 minutes after I get the laundry downstairs. I figure it can wash while we're out and we'll come back in to toss it in the dryer and warm up. :-)
C,
Burrrrrrrrr. That's a cold looking picture!
It's 39 here in Houston almost low enough to send me back to Las Vegas.
Bill
C,
It's hard to believe so many people are still getting snow. On the coast we have had none to speak of.
Hey Bill, Las Vegas is a long way to go for three degrees. According to the weather report, it's 42 there right now.
E. J.,
I haven't talked to my son yet today, so I didn't know. But, 3 degrees is 3 degrees.
Bill
C...I think your plans sound perfect. It's a good idea to stay close to home when the weather is so uncooperative. Stay safe and warm -- Just enjoy the beauty from your window! lol
That picture must have been earlier this AM. Hope you had fun today my kids were out all day and the snow plows have left some nice big piles to play on. Stay warm and have fun.
I love the snow too but enough is enough another 12 inches today on top of the 30 that was still on the ground
C- That is beautiful. I have not been in snow in over 15 years now. It is going to get to 39 degrees tonight here though, like breaking the cold records here. But today it was 72 and gorgeous, ran my webinar on my patio.
I see where y'all are getting hammered! Better you than me ~ LOL!!!
Helping you help others live their American dream...
OMG - the ramp has snow drifts bigger than Stephen. I need to take the shorties to school but it looks like I may have to dig the car out of the garage if maintenance doesn't get here soon. Maybe we should just stay home because the shovel is in the trunk of my car and I really don't want to wade through this mess. My kids seen game to do so (LOL). ;-)
Hi C! You know, they were showing the snow a couple of days ago and I was so envious--now...not so sure! I know you guys will have a blast no matter what you do! Take lots of photos and let us live vicariously through you!
