"Facebook video is meant for the uploading and sharing of personal content. We've designed the application to discourage misuse, and our users agree only to upload video of a personal nature that is about them or their friends, or created by them or their friends."
I just copied this quote from the Q&A area where you can check your privacy settings and restrict programs and applications. There is a beach butt virus going around and now I keep getting these LoudMo pop ups from hell.
My IE browser keeps crashing. Something called Eternos was in my Facebook applications list and when I clicked it Facebook sid it was invalid, so I deleted it and restricted a bunch of application permissions while I am trying to figure out just how much damage was done by that video player application that whacked my laptop this afternoon.
Just so you know: I did not send a beach butt video to infect your machines. That was a FB virus. Seriously...
That little quote is also a reminder for you guys to be careful about your YouTube embeds. Too many music videos on your walls may be a dangerous thing... Go check your settings and decide just how public you want your stuff to be.

I got it... from another facebook friend and thought it looked hinky and didn't click it. Hope you can fix your 'puter.
LoudMo Contextual Ad Assistant has got to go. How did I get a Bing toolbar??? The bloody thing is redirecting my pages from where I want to go. WTF??? How did LoudMo get on my computer??? They get paid for these ads that are interrupting my Netflix. I am trying to figure out where to uninstall this thing. How do you get rid of Bing?
Another reason not to use Facebook!
Thanks for the heads up.

Donna, I just went through my control panel to whack Loudmo but I don't know how to uninstall the Bing toolbar. Hmm...
Tammy, this is stressing me out...
Thank you, Richard. :-)
C-I will be waiting for someone to come up with the answer of getting rid of the Bing toolbar.
Nick, my Google toolbar is gone and this Bing thing is driving me crazy. I don't even know hot to minimize it.
Yes!!!!!!!! Bing is loading itself. Read this article while I try to get rid of this thing:

This is why I do not install applications within Facebook. Many of these can hack your account & phish your friends. The wifey did one the other week that did nothing but send everyone in her address book bogus email with phishing links. Be careful with this kinda stuff. It can be messy.
C, good luck with that. I so seldom click anything on FB. I got hit a while ago and learned my lesson. Why oh why do people find it amusing to screw with other peoples computers? I hope they pay for that some time, some way, some day... and I hope we get to see it!
C, I like Jeremy do not open anything from FB, no Mafia wars, farmville, anything of that nature as well. I also do not use FB near as much as I used to, it is just too unstable right now, in fact mark my words, this is the begining of the downfall of FB. It is just a matter of time until it is updending by the latest greatest new thing. situations such as this prompt people to come up with something different.
Carolyn, I wish I knew how to help you!! Thanks for the warning here and on FB!
Well, I feel left out because I did not get a beach butt video. LOL. But if I do, I surely won't view it.
C....I've been left out too - no beach butt video - I'm a happy girl. Good luck getting your stuff back working right.
Carolyn - It is easy to get caught up in the fun - so this is a good reminder to be watchful. Thanks for the heads up.
oh no...not another one...thanks for the warning, I like knowing about these things BEFORE I get hit.
Thanks, Carolyn. Unfortunately, more and more viruses are out there causing many problems.
C - My butt has been removed a bit from much of the facebook follies ,in that, I still don't get it (or it doesn't get me) I have a fan page, and all the yada, but my meager mind doesn't want to know if someone scratched their butt.
Love your posts
LOL @ Claude. I find broadcasting in Faceook to be rather useful at times. I also love lurking on people's vacation and family pictures. :-)
Marzena, it is amazing what they come up with...
Karen, I clicked that puppy because I thought another friend sent it. Boy was I surprised (LOL).
Susan, I love fun but that bit of mischief made me pause.
Carra, my laptop seems to be working again. :-)
LMAO @ Elizabeth. :-)
Barb, I drove my techie friends crazy.
Gerry, I am starting to cut back on my gaming haits there.
Andrea, I wish I knew why people did half the things they do...
Jeremy, I am finding that out. What a huge mess...
