Just added my Twitter Tweet Button to my signature and sidebar...
Since I fool around in Twitter during the mornings while working with Jango Music, I thought it might be nice to have a twitter counter tweet button. It's kinda cool to see how many shares you get with the "share this" button and I found myself wondering how many of those shares were actual tweets.
Being a Curious George kinda girl I added the tweet button to see if it might help me figure that out. When you spend as much time marketing as I do you kinda like having an idea of which social media sites are useful (besides fun). :-)

Look good. I need to add the social media button on my sig at well.
I like that twitter tweet button. Great idea. Thanks for posting.
Mahesh, it's cool and instant. I'm liking it already. :-)
Pamala, I second that. Placing it in the signature put it on all of my posts syndicated to my multiple outside blogs. My stats started moving on older posts found in the search engines. Nice! :-)
I'm so impressed.....I really just don't get Twitter.....I need to really research this.
Karen, you would be amazed at the instant access it affords you to people you may otherwise not get through to. I am chatting through direct messages with heads of corporations behind their secretary/executive assistants backs (LOL). I am in a twitter marketing meeting right now in Starbucks. We are negotiating brands I may want to allow licensing my music to for their promotions as well as how to promote my iTunes Ping artist profile through corporate endorsements. I also have to answer someone in the UK about finding a 3 bedroom apartment in NYC through an AR e-mail. Social media rocks. ;-)
Sorry I missed your call earlier this week. I am available..have a showing at the chocolate house tomorrow.
You may want to read TLW's post on Twits.

Margaret, will scoot on over to TLW. :-)
Margaret,
I just tweeted your post, and your counter advanced from 2 to 3. So it works! Thanks for sharing this cool tidbit.
How do you install the twitter widget?
Dave, you embed the code from your settings link for the sidebar html box and for the signature html box if you want it to show up on each post that you write and if you want people to share your blog website link when they click from the dashboard. :-)
Thanks for the tutorial!
Dave, you are welcome. :-)
