Been wandering around Stamford CT...

My kids would have loved to see those horses up close and personal. They also would have loved having dinner here with me. The food was excellent and I may be passing this way again very soon. I'm parked next door in the Starbucks located on the upper floor of the Barnes and Noble. After I finish my cheesecake I'm going to go meet my girlfriend and visit the Barnes and Nobles on 17th Street in Manhattan. I am on the hunt for a very hard to find production manual and couldn't find it the stores I frequent in Queens County.

Yup. I will drive 30 miles to buy a single book (said the chick who drives to MD to have lunch with her friends - LOL). ;-)

Hi Carolyn.... It's hard for me to think of someone who lives in NYC, where you can get some of the best Chinese food in the country, driving 30  iles to have lunch at P.F. Changs!  I'm going to have to process this for a while!

Steve, I had a very nice visit. Definitely worth the trip. :-)

It's not just about the food though, is it? Doesn't the atmosphere and the people go into the decision making process of where to eat?

We also have Chinese food in Baltimore (even a PFChangs)  It is always the company but good food enhances the experience. As you know there are no shortage of restaurants in MD.

Maria, the company I keep is stellar and good food makes it more fun. :-)

Margaret, MD is gorgeous. I like invading states. Learning CT is on my bucket list so I'm mapping Stamford with the help of a few friends. ;-)

C, my dad grew up in Stamford and I haven't been there in several years so I enjoyed your photo's. Maybe the next time we go home we could take a detour...

Debbie, taking a detour sounds lovely. I will be there again later this week and will post more shots. :-)
