CAROL SMITH - JUST FOR FUN: MIDDLE AGED TEXTING CODES
Yeah... I had to do it. It was just too funny to pass up. I hang out with my elderly neighbors a lot because they are mad fun to spend time with, have a wicked sense of humor and routinely treat me like a their "child" (which results in lots of lunch and dinner invitations - LOL).
A few minutes ago people were looking at me in Starbucks wondering what was going on because I couldn't stop laughing at this. I could just picture my naughty old readers in crime getting into this, creating their own elderly text codes while weighing in with their sense and sensibilities (LOL).
Since most of my brick and mortar book club bookies are not Facebook friends with my real estate buddies (like Carol Smith) I just had to bring this virtual conversation to them. Now we're all giggling in the isles watching this conversation unfold (LOL). I love social media - it helps bring people together (happy sigh).

This is too funny.. I can't wait to share with my children for when they get home from school.. Ja Ja
We've lost our minds over here. OMG - Christina, this isn't going to end for the rest if the day (LOL). :-)
Since I would definately fall into that older group you were referring to, I am getting a huge laugh out of this. However, since my social networking skills are nill, I guess I'll just carry this idea forward with my two finger typing skills on e-mails to my friends. Thanks for the chuckle.
I laughed, then realized I'm beginning to relate to some of those. Yikes! Thanks for the laugh this morning! You crack me up!
Leslie, you are very welcome. :-)
Lina, I can relate to a LOT of these (especially since my kids can be very exhausting sometimes - LOL). ;-)
TYFT (Thanking you for that)
I'm preparing a speech for our Humorous Speech Contest Thursday at Toastmasters, and I think I just changed my topic ROFLAMNT (rolling on floor *laffing about my new topic)
I had seen something similarly cute with the codes in the horse world too Carolyn. Funny.
Ummmmm - this is hitting too close to home for comfort . . . It is funny though. :-)
Hi guys! This was my best laugh of the day (happy sigh). :-)
This is very funny! I am going to share this with my family. Thanks.
Laughing and laughing even as I realize that at 60 most of them apply to me.
You are welcome, Kari. We are still joking about his. :-)
Maya, at 46 I can own up to feeling several of 'em myself (especially after the gym - LOL). ;-)
Carolyn, isn't the best humor always based on the truth? LOL
Silvia, it most certainly is (LOL). ;-)
